Aleq Boyle hails from Georgia's Appalachia foothills- 

His work at the National Civics Philanthropies, duties as a Speaker and developer of Civic Curricula keep him engaged

His first career, was military service, he Enlisted in the
US Navy. A veteran with active duty Sea service on the USS Midway, The 7th Fleet Elite, Boyle was forward deployed and served in the Asian/Pacific Theatre, mostly Japan *He was on duty in C.I.C. the day the Soviet/Russian Air-Force downed KAL-007, Killing his Congressman, Larry McDonald, of then GA-07-CD. 
Personal History:  Aleq has lived on 2 continents, traveled a 3rd, Europe for University credit. His 1st international adventures were complements of our Navy‘s, 7th Fleet The Pacific & Asia. He began college on Ship via an Education at Sea Program [University of Maryland]. Later, adding to those first efforts by graduating from a small Indiana College,  studying communications, economics & sociology (undergrad).  Later, he would attend the University at Chattanooga, where his courses were at the graduate level in Environmental Science.

Civic and Community Service: He is committed to reaching out to encourage our citizens especially students be they High School or in College to strive to have their voices heard. It is that same passion that gave rise to his own desire to see the US Congress more responsive to the people, and he believes his Remote Congress plan might be just the path to that goal.   See: www.JohnCFremont.org aka: Fremont Civics, serving as the National Director, Civic Society America Initiative

Past/Present Affiliated Organizations:
  Toast Masters, Kiwanis, Rotary/Rotoract, American Legion, Boy Scouts/Explorers, Georgia Mental Health Network, Georgia Civic Society, Fremont Civics Philanthropies, First Church of God, Anderson, IN, United Methodist. Aleq has served in the Republican & Libertarian Parties and Auxiliaries often in Leadership positions.  The Leadership Institute, a recognized alumni c. 2010, Chattanooga Singers, Ravens Alumni Association and Member, Knights of Classic Lore-Honors, Past Officer and other assorted leadership and service/posts. Being active in the community teaches us all more about our neighbors and how we can serve and help strengthen and build our area, State and Nation.

Sports, Athletics and Teams:  Boyle is a fan of Navy, Georgia and mostly all the teams of the SEC, more a College Football Fan, he does enjoy the Atlanta Falcons and played Soccer in College, he was on the Raven's First Soccer Club/Team, Go Dogs!

Career and Interests: Experiences have been in a variety of concerns, endeavors, and campaigns at all levels: Local, Regional, State & National. Aleq has developed a broad understanding on a variety of public policy matters organically, professionally and from the academic arena.

US Navy:  His 1st. career endeavor included serving in the Navy D.E.P. (Delayed Entry Program while attending his Jr/Sr year in High School.  Upon Graduation from a State of Georgia public school he attended Great Lakes Naval Training Command; known as US Navy Boot-Camp with advanced training (Damneck, VA).  Studies included "Naval Tactical Data Systems". As a student in Military/Naval Technologies, & Tactical Systems he earned special honors.  Additionally, Boyle was a Member of the Command Honor Guard, a special unit, he was a volunteer and served with distinction.  Boyle earned his choice from Military assignments, choosing a coveted Foreign Service billet; He would then be prepped and would land in Japan, Winter of 1982.  

Sea Service:  Asia/Pacific, as an OS he was assigned to CIC [Combat Information Center] of the USS Midway, CVA-41.  His Ship traveling most of Asian waters & many ports of call. His first ventures included the Bearing Sea; later with much of the Pacific. Aleq Boyle loves all things Ocean; One of his life's passion is sailing. Adventures post Navy are the inter-coastal, Gulf, Atlantic (Bluewater) sailing.

Current Projects and Efforts:
Much of his time is spent serving more as an educator in his philanthropic work, a spokesperson and sometimes guest speaker/host representing the Fremont Civics organization and the Civic Society America Initiative for all 50 States.  Other topics for his professional speaking engagements include: Government related matters, Military Affairs, Defense and Strategy, Environmental Concerns and Policy, Social Media Ethics, Civics, Justice Reform/Civil Rights, Ethics, and Economics to highlight some key topics.
